The staff couln't have been more helpful. The room & breakfast both excellent. The dinner was poor, left overs, puddings displayed nightly were the same. Food was overcooked, poor quality, very bad value for money.I would NOT return there unless outside facilities improved and they got a new chef. Nothing was open for us outside. They hadn't tried and I would not return. Dinner was just AWFUL. Dry meat, stringy meat, canned vegetables - very very poor.

15 euros was too much for the food. Same soup 2 nights running. Left over meat heated up; Vegetables tinned; puddings the same night after night - the same puddings not new ones. I think Health & Safety would have a field day there!

Excellent hotel. We stayed there just for one night, but we really enjoyed. If you visit the north of Portugal this is a very good place to stay. The service is outstanding. We recommend to use the restaurant. No problem to parking.

This place is peaceful with helpful staff, located next to a mountain.

The staff was excellent, and the location was beautiful, providing a very relaxing experience. the reasonably large double room and spacious bathrooms were well arranged upon our arrival. the airport was conveniently only 0.5 km away.

The staff went above and beyond to answer our questions and make our stay unforgettable. The sumptuous breakfast spread, complete with fresh juice, was a delightful treat. Spent New Year's Eve at a lovely country hotel in the north of Portugal. The rustic stone walls of the room were charming! The complimentary bottle of wine from the hosts' own vineyard, was a nice touch. Hotel facilities were fascinating with a beautiful park to walk in. The location offered easy access to Porto but was situated in a peaceful, rural setting.

Our New Year's dinner was a let-down. The food was bland, and the pacing of the meal was off, making it way too long and not cozy at all.

The hotel in question offers luxurious rooms complete with exposed granite walls and impressive buildings alongside a happy and helpful staff. the breakfast is said to be excellent with a super wide choice including fried eggs. Guests can enjoy the pool and have ease of parking alongside a nearby restaurant, San Domingo's.

Some aspects of the surrounding area may not be to everyone's liking, but the hotel itself is well-equipped with facilities.

Charme Quinta Do Pinheiro was an amazing find! the ancient Portuguese inn had a beautiful stone-walled exterior that made it feel like a fairytale. the staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. the rooms were lovely and the breakfast, served in a sunny room, was delicious with a selection of tasty food and fresh juice. We were so impressed with our experience that we even decided to extend our stay. We can't wait to return in the future!
